I was making a joke. I love Godzilla, but I find that some Godzilla fans hate Ultraman because they think that it's a cheap knock-off (Which is ironic, considering the fact that Ultraman is still airing new seasons/movies, while Godzilla hasn't made a movie since 2004) and wanted to make a joke about the dislike concerning that fact. And yes, I would agree that the joke is (heavily) overused.

@CVICTORW The funny thing about it is I watched it on my black and white tv in my room and never remember it airing in color back then. Seeing him with red coloring is really strange for me. Anyone have a clip of the show where he fought the monster who accidentally fell to earth on an asteroid or something and was trying to get back to his planet and wouldn't fight Ultraman. He would grab on to a rocket hoping it would take him back home. I cried like a baby everytime I saw that episode.

I do believe you are misinterpreting what I said. I said Godzilla hasn't made a movie since 2004, not that they don't make movies about him anymore. Also, if you've payed attention to recent news, Legendary Pictures (The guys that made 300) is working on a remake of the character.

Also, about 6 year vacations... It's been eight. Last time, it was 4. The time before that, it was about 10... *lulz*

@zalina03 I think you should get your facts straight Toho the company that owns the Gojira franchise, gives the the Big G a 6 year vacation before going at it again. There has always been a 6 year gap between each offerings of the Big G, w/c means there ought to be a big one coming out in the near future.

I remember when the opening credits uncurdled to reveal the words "Ultra Man." My buds and I used to always say, "Ewww! Here comes the puke!" The Japanese, rubber-suited monsters of Ultraman, Johnny Socko and Godzilla fame sure look ridiculous today. But when we were kids and "unsophisticated," they sure were AWESOME!
