just thinking all that drinking every night will take its toll on these host guys God only knows what their doing to their insides yeah we all enjoy a drink maybe at the weekend and that but with these guys its every single night no wonder a lot of them end up in emergancy rooms they could end up killing themselfs

Because it's nonsense. It's bullshit. The very opposite of genuine emotion. Romance is someone else's idea of what love should be. It's dramatic, it's grand gestures, it's fireworks, it's playing on the thought that a happy-ever-after might just happen to YOU. It's make-believe. Even when it's genuine, it's still just playing.
