  • I'm surprised that in today's paranoid climate they allowed you to bring that onto the aircraft.

    Most airlines won't even allow GPS receivers.

  • @nidzaPFC Correct I knew this back in the 1960s as a child of an Air Force Para-medic that treated burns on people that got to close to a test at White Sands and Los Alamos, New Mexico

  • very likely flew through some sort of communications band or under a satellite / over satellite dish array
