What were they singing about? It looked like a very festive event. I am not surprised that Topi Lehtipuu goofed around like that, having seen his comic talents in Cosi and Les Paladins. Was his outfit Finnish or a combo of many cultures?

Täydellinen tyylirikko ja liikaa kamaa. Taitavat muusikot, mutta  kappalevalinta ja sovitus hanurista.. Vahän sama tunne tulee toiseen suuntaan kun Mantovani tai 101 Srings pilaa yksunkertaista kansanlaulua. No, ehkä joku voi tykätäkin, vaikka joku puhaltaja vetelee välillä ihan omiaan.

Anyway, Tiltu was a 15 year old girl, ready to marry and desired by men from all around the country, including a preacher´s son from the North - who all came and danced the polka in her house late into the night - but the story doesn´t say if she actually married any one of them

Topi performs with Avanti also in a new years eve (2006/7) show as a guest to Iiro Rantala. I'm not sure if that's available outside Finland, but try to google it using key words: iirottelua, topi lehtipuu, yle, areena.
