Not many people know this song but I like it, so here it is with the lyrics. Brandi Carlile sings slow enough that you could probably just listen really hard and guess what words are coming up next but what ever. Sorry to my subscribers, I don't have easy computer access anymore so getting videos up is much harder than before but I haven't stopped making them.

@Sunderlanding i think Brandi is very good, and i am a huge CCR fan from way back, so i hear you there...the only thing that is really annoying and makes me wish i didn't know it is this: apparently Brandi' song "The Story" was featured on the uber-shmaltzy night time soap.... ER...no that's not it...er.... Grey's Anatomy. what a waste of good music.

i love brandis voice...the way she does what she does....oh what it does to me! when her voice does those special things it does! esp when she ssays those words "reason" and "fool".........just love her ! loved the song! never heard a song by her that i dont love, found this by some fluke..enjoyed mucho!

@madinno I thought she was covering the song. There are lots of X does Someday Never Comes and it's the CCR song. I was unaware of Brandi Carlile, and I wish it had of stayed that way.

@madinno It's the same sentiment, but it's not a rip off a exactly. It is a disapointment however for people who thought it was the other song. This song is pure cheese. Horrible. The other song says the same thing much better, and Forgerty is a way better singer and song-writter.
