But the teachers were told at the end of the experiment that this wasn't real and if you watch the original videos, I don't see that they were as traumatized as let's say those in Zimbardo's experiment.
Interesting that even after such a long time the results are still similar to those of Milgram I also think that people that have no knowledge about the Milgram experiment should not comment about it, there was different experiments conducted which included proximity in which the percent of obeying dropped and so on. Research was also done in different parts of the world. So please if you don't know about it don't comment about it.
Actually, no. The original Milgram experiment had an electrical engineer and he refused to administer the bigger shocks because he knew what they'd do. Part of the experiment in this is, that people are also kind of unaware what the punishment given does.
