Relive the 1970 NBA Finals, when Willis Reed's comeback inspired the Knicks to the championship.

  • "Built on the team concept. Relying not on anyone but everyone." I think that statement is true in sports, but I think it is lost in today's NBA. That's why I pefer this NBA than today's NBA and I'm only 19.

  • @Topherlee2 You have to realize that this kind of team will never exist again. The 1970 championship Knicks had 3 of the top players of that day (Reed, Debusscher and Frazier) as well as a total of 7 incredible shooters. Cazzie Russell and Dave Stallworth would have started on most teams, but sat on the bench here. Plus, under today's salary cap there is no way that any team can ever have such a strong top 7 again. And this was such a unique team. It was a puzzle where every piece fit perfectly.

  • "Here comes Willis and the crowd is going wild." Best line EVER.

  • The 1970 NBA Finals was sort of a David vs Goliath matchup
