Um accidental bad launch or bad driver? I think bad driver
-
@KHirschi Oh yeah, the buyer could pick the number they wanted the dealership to put on it. That was the deal, right? The Heritage Edition came with a big tall box. Inside the box was a numbers kit.

Heeey pass time! Awesome show

@roadtesttv I wouldn't say it's wrong, just that's it's being misread. My comment wasn't mean to incite a debate, just to inform.

For what it's worth, it's not a Gulf Oil Edition. It's a Heritage Edition. 2006 model year only and the buyer could pick the number that they wanted the dealership to put on it.

Thanks for watching. Called Ford GT with Heritage paint due to the "Gulf Oil" sponsored cars. According to the Ford Press release the: "New for 2006, the limited-edition Ford GT 'Heritage' paint livery harkens back to the JW Automotive/American "Gulf Oil" sponsored Le Mans-winning Ford GT racer"

@roadtesttv I know exactly what it is and why it's named as such. Calling it a Gulf Oil edition is inaccurate.

KHirschi - Maybe the Ford Press release is wrong and you're right. Share your knowledge. Thanks.
