Its a stupid movie , trying to justify illegal immigration and with prejudice towards lot of races

this actualy happened to a family friend and 15 years later they were forced to move back to india with his wife and 3 kids. one whom was 15. they can move back when they are 18 all of them besides the dad. its a really sad story. worst part is my girlfriend is his daughter, so i cant see her for years because he tried to trick the legal system when he first entered the country.

is this movie worth watching? i heard about it from a friend who actually watched american desi, american chai, green card fever, lately. when they came out we were both really young.
