  • What would the top speed be? Any other suggestions for servos?

  • @statesmanls1 the estimated static prop speed is right around 100mph so should be close to that. As for alternative servos the Hobby King 939MG servos should fit nicely. They have metal gears and 2.5g.cm torque rating. I added a link in the video information bar below the video.

  • How did you fit a 35mm motor when the website sees to use a 28mm motor?

  • this plane looks like somthing i would get , woundering if a folding prop has to be used, would a person set the esc with the brake on...

  • @shockflyyer3d It was just an idea, have look at some of the aircrafts that came out in the second world war, on paper they looked a joke but in action they changed aviation forever. If your worried about stablity you could use a stablization system such as the FY-30a and instead of a pusher prop setup have a twin folding prop.FPV systems dont weigh that much these days. I actually do fly rc gliders and real by the way.

  • @catamaranman333 thought so, i saw 950a and i was like... daaaamn!! lol :)

  • @TeenFlyer95 efficient with a pusher prop? if you fly gliders you would understand how much drag that causes.

however it's your experiment/ tril and error, and hotliners are horribly unstable when slowed to a thermaling pace (it would tip stall out the air with all the weight.

  • @shockflyyer3d how come? its stable as it tracks well well, fast and efficient as it has a good glide ratio.

  • @TeenFlyer95 no, wrong thinking completly!

  • could be a good fpv platform with a pusher prop set up

  • @robnuts01 Sorry, meant 950W...
