Didn't you know that there is a library window for all the included instruments?! I used to use Command+O and there you find a library tab (there is a better key kommand). There you'll find ALL the presets for the actual instrument (channel that is highlighted) without opening the instrument window and it is much more easier to use and select next or previous presets!
