Affordable Quality Tile Installation Atlanta Ga

We are the Atlanta tile installation division of Affordable Craftsmen, http://www.acgeneralcontractors.com

This video is for Atlanta Tile Installation Experts website and starts by showing a 12"x12" slate floor tile installation that ended up pretty bad. Needless to say, it's not the work of Atlanta Tile Installation Experts, but instead a mess to take up and redo.

We offer tile installation Atlanta Ga, Marietta, Sandy Springs, Kennesaw, Roswell, Alpharetta, Milton, Woodstock, Smyrna, Dunwoody, Marietta, Roswell, Sandy Springs, Kennesaw, Acworth, Johns Creek & Norcross.

As professional Atlanta tile installers, there are 13 things that we offer to do as part of a turn-key tile installation:

1). We educate you as to which types of tile are good, better and best for your specific application.

2). We bring the thinset mortar or adhesive to the job site and it will be the right one based on type of tile, size of tile, floor vs. wall and whether it will be getting wet or not.

3). We discuss the proper size grout joints for you to choose from based on the size and layout of tile you select. We also make sure you get the right grout type, sanded or non-sanded depending on the size of the grout joint you select.

4). We make sure you know how much of everything to buy. We often recommend suppliers, including some tile warehouses that are only open to tile contractors, but Floor and Decor is our preferred supplier.

5). Once you select and pay for your tile material, we'll come pick it up and bring it into your home or business. This often saves $200-400 of shipping and labor if it's more than you could have easily put in your own vehicle.

6). We show up on time and bring all the other little things that we know are needed but you don't need to be bothered with. i.e. spacers, sponges and various tools.

7). We prepare and repair the floor or wall properly before starting to install the backer board or tile. There may be an extra cost to replace things like rotted wood that we're unseen prior to removing the old tile or flooring, but that's standard to all tile installers.

8). We put the right cement board down with the right screws. Different types and thicknesses of cement board are needed in different applications. Non-galvinized screws or nails will rust out and can allow the floor to move or come up a few years later.

9). We water proof areas that will get heavily wet or allow water to sit. This would include things like using a pan liner and properly building your shower pan under the shower floor, but would also include painting the shower walls or sometimes tub surrounds with Red Guard or some similar water proof membrane prior to tile install.

10). We install the tile square and plumb. Rarely is anything perfectly square and plumb, but each construction trade has certain tolerances that are published by the local builders associations that are used to measure whether a job is acceptable or not. We provide an A or A+ quality tile installation for a lower than average price = a real value for our clients.

11). We install with even grout joints. Every tile or grout joint will never be absolutely perfect, but it will be very good. Also, keep in mind, that the variance on a credit card wide joint is significantly less than a 1/4" joint, but some tile is not square or regular enough in shape to install that close to each other.

12). When we come back the next day to grout, we'll have sponges and buckets on hand, so we won't allow your tile to end up with grout haze stuck to it that can't be gotten off easily later.

13). We can let you know based on location, material and application, whether you'll need to seal your tile and/or grout and suggest different types of sealers, including enhancers that when applied cause the tile to look permanently wet.

14). We will put the trash where you've instructed on site or haul it away depending what was agreed. The area we worked in will be left broom clean.

We install all kinds of tile: marble, travertine, granite, porcelain, ceramic, mosaic, borders, rectified, stone in your kitchen, bath, laundry, shower floor, shower wall, kitchen backsplash, bathroom floor, tub surround, basement, garage, patio, indoor, outdoor or ceiling.

When comparing prices, it's important to remember that our price often includes our installers bringing the tile to your home or business, carrying the tile to the project location on site and providing the tile thinset or adhesive. Sealing the tile is an extra, as it's often not needed.

Please call today to ask us questions about the tile, installation or overall process and start actually getting your tile project done!
