I held his hand when he was three
He kicked a ball he skinned his knee
He broke an arm when he was six
How could you let it end like this?
With you upon your ivory tower
Filthy rich and drunk with power
We're soiled and shamed
And you're to blame

My boy died because of you
His hands are cold his eyes were blue
You lied our country to Iraq
Now he ain't ever comin' back
Tell me why you get to choose
He was barely twenty-two
Twenty-two

She held her hand when she was three
She kicked a ball she skinned her knee
A mothers daughter died today
How could you take her life away?
With you upon your little green
Your bloody oil and war machine
You 'aughta be ashamed
Ahh but how's your game?

That girl died in her own town
Her hands are cold her eyes were brown
You bled our country to attack
Now she ain't ever comin' back
Tell me what did she ever do
To the great red white and blue
Red white and blue

  • Yes, some of the blame for all these deaths is the governments fault, but all these people being sent to war chose to fight for their country. They all knew the risks when they signed the dotted line so you can't really put all the blame on the government, these people knew what they were getting into so it's partly their fault too.

  • I would just point out that you should join the military knowing that you may die. It is a risk you are bravely taking. I think you should seriously consider this before joining the armed forces. Sure you can "blame bush" but ultimately it is the soldiers fault for dying in the first place when they joined the armed forces. I know there are families who don't have a lot of options, and joining was needed for the paygrade, or a childhood dream, but you have to weigh your options here.

  • @djs61909 oh okay thankyou so much, no thats okay i dont need a n MP3 it was just for school, thankks :)

  • And you guys should have a look at what is now Irak, what I heard lately is scary. The disaster is not yet over. DONT LET THE REPUBLICANS TURN THE RESPONSABILITY ON THE DEMOCRATS. Dont lie again to America

  • The democrats have blood on their hands" It has even stained their lying tongues as well, and they even got away scott free

  • well done for the vid and all the deaths usa and uk are all the dip shit george w bush's fault
