Tandberg 3014A Demo, Direct audio from unit. Read Description

Something for the audio enthusiasts:

I record and playback a little old school trance using vinyl as my source onto a cheap Type I TDK cassette. Audio for the videos was taken from the headphone jack strait into "line in" on the computer. Audio quality is very poor. This is due to my cheap onboard soundcard, low bit rates, digital processing etc. You can listen and compare the source to the recording as i flick the switch between Source and Tape as its being recorded. I cant tell the difference except during the really silent parts where tape hiss becomes obvious.


I try to show the automatic program search feature
RW and FF speed

turn on Rec.Preset
set input to source

adjust master control using loudest part of the song for recording

2:40 calibrate Bias and Record Current to the tape. it was already very close. needed a bit of fine tuning

4:45 I Hit the record and drop the needle.

8:00 Fade out a stop recording

8:20 Rewind to 0000 on counter

8:27 Seek forward us
