Jodelle Ferland v.s. Dakota Fanning for the part of Jane Volturi of New Moon

who would you prefer Jodelle or Dakota for the part of Jane Volturi in the twilight sequel?I basically think that Dakota wouldn't be able to pull it off .(Jane being pure un-concentrated demented and evil and all that) I want to know what you think! comment or message plz rate and tell me whats up!!!

definately jodelle, its not fair that she didnt even have a chance, they just GAVE the spot to Dakota! that sucks!! not that i dont like Dakota...but Jodelle would have been a billion times better and she should haev had the chance to audition

So I heard. The director was so confident in Dakotas ability that he just offered her to role. I read it on a pole on some entertainment site. I really wish they would have let people compete for the spot, there might have been even better unknown actresses then Jodelle too, instead of adding Dakota whos career is far superior to all of the other actors in the movie combined! To put her big name in as a minor role is a bit of an insult to the other main characters in my opinion.

When I first read new moon, i always pictured Jane as Jodelle! i think she would be perfect! Dakota Fanning is a great actor, but i think jodelle is more talented and she seems more like jane...in a good way :)

Dakota has this innocent and "good girl" look about her that you wouldn't expect her to be evil. It makes her even scarier than Jodelle who always plays the creepy kid; it makes it more subtle. But i'm still curious what it would have been like had they reversed roles, hmmm....

Jodelle should have been Jane. Dakota is good, but she just never came across as creepy in the movie. Jodelle is pro at the creepy part.
