  • Doesn't your turntable have a cueing lever? You're living dangerously! LOL

  • Yes, my turntable does have a cueing lever, but it hasn't worked in over 20 years!

So it's back to the old school method of the "needle drop".

    Done gently, it's no problem!

    Thanks for listening!

  • Loooooove this!!! Wish I could shake your hand....this is where it's at! Great video...classic soul...love the label on the LP.....outta sight!!! Thanks for this :)

  • The Honey Cone were just a sexy and diva soul group and these stunning honies were just electrfying.

Edna Wright, their lead singer is so glamourious and I understand she' still performing, what energy that she has.

Also, Carloyn Willis and Shelly Clark too were classical and this is what the Honey Cone were really about their soul and class.

They touch our souls forever more.

  • That turntable bring back memories

  • @WABCRADIO77 From September of 1971 I remember it like yesterday :) I love it :) Thanks for posting

  • We appreciate you greatly for taking the time to post such great songs.

  • The Honey Cone was the most underrated, groundbreaking trios of all time. They pioneered the " I don't need a man to define me" generation. Great music. Thanks ladies for setting us old players straight.

  • Does the lead singer remind anyone of Freda Payne?
