Spoon River (lyrics taken from Edgar Lee Masters' "The Spoon River Anthology") performed live, one late summer evening with friends. Directed by Andrea Cairoli
Haunting, memorable, summer dress, eccentric, read the poem (it's good), fluted, background party-noised, mysterious lady in a blur of song, street light at dusk, sad echoes from under the crosses on 'The Hill' over and over I replay it in my mind
WOW. Simply beautiful. The very basic guitar melody coupled with such a smooth voice, it is like being on the banks of the Spoon on a warm, late summer evening.

It's a nice song, and nice guitar work, but it is not Michael Smith's "Spoon River."
