You can't see it in the video but security was freaking out. I think it was the female security guard, walks right in front of Randy in the middle of a song, tapping him on the shoulder and trying to tell him, i'm guessing about stopping the show or telling people to stop jumping on stage. He just kept on playing, shaking his head.

The guy that runs these park stages later said that they were not use to this kind of, um... audience participation. They've never had a crowed that big before.

A lot of was happening outside the frame of the camera that prompted Keith to first ask the crowed to take a step back, for their own safety because security was getting physical. On the edges of the stage outside the field of view, people were jumping on stage and security was chasing all of them, with the kids usually jumping into the crowed before getting grabbed or tackled. This is why Keith told security, later to just stay where they were. It ended with everyone safe and leaving peacefully

It's funny, No Age opened with Sonic Youth at the Hollywood Bowl and SY dedicated a song to them. Maybe!

About 15 seconds into the video. A kid in a wheelchair was on stage during the show, and wheeled off the stage and into the crowed, began surfing. Dean's brother is in a wheelchair and was also on stage during that, but didn't wheel into the crowed.

I don't remember who originally suggested it, but i'm pretty sure it was first discussed between No Age and Keith. It was planned for the whole show, but kept a secret until Keith and Chuck took the stage. FYF Fest put the show together and it was all pretty incredible. No Age played their set, then brought out their "special guests". All of them rehearsed many times before the show. They'd like to play another No Flag show, but Keith is busy with his band OFF! so lots to figure out.

Dude this was so awesome! Does anyone know how NO FLAG came about? Did all party's just decide to play a Black Flag set together that night? This was cool to see. Great set dudes. Chuck, will you please do this more. I love watching you play bass. Thanks for posting this.
