This a video showing the full detailed disassembly of the Savage/Stevens 350 Pump or any Ithaca M37 or Model 37 pump shotgun. The reason for a complete dis assembly is to refinish the shotgun in the Desert Sand Air Dry Cerakote and make it totally awesome so check back for that video in a week or so. Hopefully this video will be helpful in increasing your knowledge of weapons, specially the knowledge or the Ithaca M37 which was one of the first pump shotguns ever created. • just for stupids sake, what would hapen if you were to fire this without the stock

  • @garuda2shamrock

Nothings much the gun would go off and you would have to hold it by the bump only but in theory it should fire just fine without the stock.

  • did you have to cut holes into the rubber buttstock to get to the screws? cuz with mine there are no screw holes?

  • @ATLSmackdown

I din't but it was very hard to actually see were they were. After I found them and put the screw driver through them it became more obvious and I just took the rubber that was till there out.

  • Great videos, I will have them loaded and playing when I do my first major breakdown. I saw this shotgun in the store and could not resist it for the price. After about 300 shells both shot and slugs it has gone bang EVERY time I pulled the trigger.

I do have a question that maybe you can answer. I have heard that the safety can be reversed and be functional for a left handed shooter if there is a hole drilled on the opposite side for the detent spring and pin. Have you ever looked at this?

  • @mikeofmo

I was thinking about the safety and on the Stevens its located on the left and work by pressing to the right were on the Ithaca it was located on the right of the gun. So maybe it can be transferred to the other side but I have never tried it. If I do I will let you know.
