Lazer Tag Team Ops Commercial (for Deluxe)

The first LTTO commercial for the 2-Player Deluxe set and communicators.

This was before the "Lazer Tag Anthem" vocals were added, though the music may be the same. The vocals were used on the Hasbro website and can be heard in the updated commercial showing the Tag Master Blaster.

an ok ad, but nothing beats the original worlds of wonder ad, that was some cool sets... thanks for the upload though, laser gamer since '86...

I agree 100% -- the WOW Lazer Tag ads were the best. They set the standard and established Lazer Tag as a household brand name. They were by far the most expensive toy commercials ever created at the time. Last I knew (about 2002) they still held that spot, and I suspect they still hold it. It says a lot that when Tiger Electronics picked up the Lazer Tag license in the 1990's, they re-used the old WOW ads and just added some cut shots showing the new gear in closeup.

Interesting. The music is so close to the Anthem version that it sounds like it might be the same only without the words. I like this version better. :)

the teaser ad that showed the players suiting up and leaving the area, it was maybe a 20 second ad but sold me on the product, it had a very cool look and feel to it, that really got my interest, and it still stands out in my mind, the 'full' version of that ad was great, and the follow up one with the skateboarders and guys on atv was awesome, i still look for this ads that are download , what ads can you say that after 25-30 years, people can enjoy them, and it's product for that matter...
