Well, I could hear you...but I had on ear buds :). The 'whatevr' description seemed a little valley girl :P, but that could have been the fact that i'm use to READ good descriptions :P) I don't have much else to comment, except, that this sounded like a "impromptu" video response. (which is fine, at least you answered the previous guy's question pertaining to the math used there..It made me think about it too :P).

Cool, I learned this to multiply hex numbers at a german university a decade ago. Now I use Ruby and C.

Like you said, that's basically identical to the "standard" algorithm. The use of a dash instead of a zero is irrelevant (and actually doesn't make as much sense, because that IS a zero there), and so is the choice of putting the numbers in a single line instead of two.

thats kewl man...
you should be given nobel price for this.

You can do this because you "know" how to multiply 3*26, a double digit calculation!! Please realize that most American kids (and French kids, same problem in France) nowadays don't even know how to do single digit mental calculation simply because the school system doesn't teach them! They are being told it is "bad" to just know that i.e. 3*6=18

that just sux, i mean if can multiply every 1 digit number with another 1 digit number (every should be able to do that) and add 2 , 2 or more digit numbers, you should be able to multiply n digit numbers with n digit numbers in numbers base 10
