Though not as technically sound as the like of Coltrane, Adderley, Bird, and others, LeRoi Moore's unique style and presence has influenced my playing more than any other. It will truly never be the same without him. RIP.

whoever posted the video response...THANK YOU!!! both tributes were beautiful. the horn/sax is so much a favorite to me. without it dave would not be one of my favorite bands. without leroi... my heart is a little emptier... the blues is what i have now:)

This is my favorite tribute video I've seen on here. Thanks for sharing this deeply moving song with us.
I will miss LeRoi deeply. The last time I saw him, I was in the front row, and he smiled at me. I hope he finds many reasons to smile where he is now.
