This is a great video demonstrating the BE-200 Russian Made multipurpose Aircraft, that plane is able to land on water and land. Amazing manouver the plane is showing while flying. As well as how it can move on water into land. One of the great inventions the Russian have made in the aviation industry.

I think is one great aircraft. I like the way you can see the container when it is full, the starboard side vent blows water. Being a dreamer, I would love to have one..

This design bureau was constract the famous plane of WWII MBR-2 (Morskoy blizhnii razvedchik - Marine Short-range Reconnaissance). This bureau named for first marine airplane designer in Soviet Union Beriyev George Michaelovich (1903-1979). And this bureau has a great traditions for marine airplanes design.

Great idea but you'll never see this bird low and slow over a fire what is needed most on spot drops.

actually not a bad idea; I don't know for sure but I think there are not many planes like this one left in the world... or even fewer new ones. oh yes, this is a new one. the concept isn't (new) but who cares? it does the job it was designed for.
