after the intro scene of Rizing trying to escape the ice fields where ice and icicles spike out of the ground before falling into the abyss and hearing Red Bear's voice..

The time is 1893 New Orleans..

the scene fades into a sunny garden where Rizing is playing hide and seek with; Yumemi, Sam (Yume's elder bro) Dave and Magu.
Dave shows the gang a photo he took taken from an abandoned house which what appears to be a ghost.
Sam and co are reluctant to believe in this and soon as Dave takes a group photo they together trek off and see for themselves.

Along the way the gang see Rizing's sensei Red Bear taking down some demons and being very impressed with his fighting skills!

As the gang make their way inside the house Dave says something about needing to pee and dashes off...

Inside the big room Magu is startled by the chime of an old clock. Yumemi is surprised about it chiming 13 times and mentioning that it being unlucky before everyone being scared off by.. a scary looking mummy..

Dave reveals his tricks and as soon as everyone is startled by the crashing noise of some old armour..
Sam mentions something about the air affecting his breathing and rushes out leaving the gang...

As the remaining gang trek along the basement, it's too dark so they look for something to light the way.

  • I played this game when I was a kid. Then I had an interest for America.

  • I love 90s Anime & Videogames

  • Its so hard to find people not just posting videos of the anime shit in a game. Its great to actually see some damn gameplay for once!!!

  • Yeah, I really wouldn't have cared that the game had a "negative view on westerners" I still would have enjoyed it.

  • really? from memory, ssf was working with the game (and a lot of others), but there was a layering problem with sprites (eg in the hide and seek, you could see the kid in the tunnel because his sprite was displayed on top).

I'll have to give it another try.

  • "if it works fully now"

it doesn't. saturn emulation is still in 'preliminary' state with poor compatibility and speed.

  • nice vid

still haven't played this game past the bit you wrote up in your description though... i finally have a real saturn, but backup memory is so unstable i'll probably emulate (if it works fully now:p)

  • ack sorry .. i accidentally did something too to one of your comments.. i guess it serves me right for being away from youtube for so long..

Ya I too had some saved stuff gone missing especially my saturn saved files but I just leave it for a while and when I feel like replaying the game well u can finish it off then :)

  • You shouldn't have a problem coming across those on ebay for a good prices. I got Manji Maru for $17 shipped.
