Blade msr after DX6i setup.

I was very surprised at how stable this little heli is. Especially considering the micr tail rotor. I know it's a small investment but, if you want full control over every aspect of the helicopter i would recommend the DX6i.

It's a little loud but the heli flies fine. As long as you have no control issues I wouldn't worry to much.

@jeremiahflemmings Keep it on low rate mode and practice flying over grass, preferably tall grass, on windless days. The sims I've used all lacked fixed pitch single rotor helis like the mSR.

Pointer: When banking, turn the tail to follow, for example- To bank left, push aileron stick left, and as the heli leans left follow with the rudder stick left. After some practice you will find yourself making most every turn with both sticks, and you will have better control when turning.

I went cheaper and practical by going for the DX5E for my mSR and I love it, it has everything that I need and nothing that I don't :) (thought I just put it out there) great flying man :)

@puggster I had no expierence but from RealFlight and got the Blade 400 for my birthday in january, I fly it almost every evening in front of my house, i will post a vid and show you how lucky i am on wgere i live! ,ill have one with micro mustang, one with Msr (if calm enough) one with o.k. working Cp, and one with blade 400, i was actualy flying a couple hours ago, i tried out some new stuff with it and was successful =D.

i actually just bought the SR and its quite different than the MSR. its my first CP heli and i've already broke the blades and bent the tail boom.

the blade 400 isnt as twitchy as the msr,

they fly like totaly difrent in comparison

if you can fly the msr pretty well then i would say there is no reson why you cant start with a b400, the cp pro etc are just smaller than the b400 but the b400 is more stable to hover than them all, but crashes cost money each time and isnt as durable due to the fast head speed so more care is needed, its pretty easy to fly the b400 once you have things set up, probably easyer than the cp pro to fly

i thought it was a cross between a CP PRO 2 and a MSR? why did you skip the CP PRO 2? how much harder is a 400 than an MSR?? thanks in advance

i got the blade msr with stock tx about 3 months ago and ive just bought the blade 400 so i got the dx6i set up on my msr and boy its way more stable once you figure out the values, and with much help of the rc forums they have good values to put on and ive got dual rates and everything set and fine tuned, it really makes a difrence on how the msr flyes

oh headsup too, eflite have a new badboy called blade SR its really a combo between msr and blade 400, next on my list to buy lol

thanks omm what is like a good way to learn how to fly this heli bc im trying to learn a single rotor and im i guess slowly learning lmao but is there another better way to learn like simulators? im used to flying my mcx
