TG&Y Yep those were the days! Hadmost of the Micronauts collection too. Recently just started finding them again on Ebay.

@TheZBChannel...I had most of the Micronauts, but not all of them. I had a few Metal man action figures, too. I didn't have any Shogun Warriors. I wanted Pulsar Ultimate Man of Adventure and Rom Spacenight, but I never got them. Long live the Micronauts !!!

Before Star Wars came out this was all I played with. I had a big collection of all of this stuff - Acroyer came in two colors, electric blue and electric pink... I never saw the grey one. There was a bubble thing you can play with in water - and I had a battle station thing and some vehicles. Star Wars came out in 1977 and I lost interest in these guys pretty quick. They were good toys though

Is it just me or does it sound like the announcer during the countdown says "Micronauts revise any beaver?"

@bobbinsmahoney: Were they white (Force Commander and Oberon) or black (Baron Karza and Andromeda)?

These were my favorite toys in the later 70s. I got Biotron for my birthday and the Battle Cruiser for a later Christmas. I had some kind of vehicle too, kind of a mid-sized thing and I think it ran on tank-like wheels and had a red round revolving wheel? I remember buying a small wind-up vehicle at TG&Y but I broke it from trying to wind it too tightly. Only had a couple of the figures. I remember a yellow clear plastic guy and a shiny blue metal one. Still have them boxed in the basement

The "vehicle" sounds like Microtron, which did indeed run on tank treads and have two large red wheels at the sides that turned when it moved (and a cone shaped drill at the "waist" that did the same). Clear plastic yellow guy was probably the ubiquitous Time Traveller; many of them came packaged as extras with other toys, like the vehicles. I'll guess the shiny blue metal was an Acroyear.
Long live TG &Y!
