If you're a typical uberGeek, you have a desk drawer full of unlabeled CDs and DVDs. Perhaps you were disciplined enough to write up your disks with a permanent marker, but I'm betting that there aren't many disks that were labeled with stickers, light-scribe technology or ink-jet printers.

I have a mountain of unlabeled or cryptically labeled media that I need to flip through each time I want to find a file. --- Dymo wants to give you a way to organize your burns AND give you some eye-popping prints to boot.

  • Where can I buy this Dymo Diskprinter now?

  • @dajerz43,

Unless you can find one of the retail stores that still has stock, you may have to wait for Dymo to release the next version.

  • Another thing that affects print quality is buying either white flood or silver background discs. Which to buy depends on the surface picture effect you want. White will give you bright and vibrant colors. Silver gives you darker colors. Depends on the result you want.

  • Saromatae,

It's always good to hear from people with real-world experience. Thanks for watching and commenting.

  • what is best Ink Jet CDs to buy

and i do wonder if Walgreens could Refell that cartage

  • Dan,

    First... thanks for stopping by!

Second, all cartridges CAN be refilled... the only question is how strict the manufacturer will be about enforcing their "expiration."

  • Olá. Its a good printer but dont like to much the fact that as no black cartidge, the color cartidge is low capacity and should have separeted colors and with the same price or lower you can get a multifuncional that prints very well and is a printer copy e scaner. But is a personal opinion. One think thats very important is the media that you use, for exemple the printable normal cd as low results but if you buy photo glossy media the results are amaizing. Sorry about my english.

  • @javikmt its about 300$, you can get an epson printer that has cd print option for 130$

  • I would like to bay it, but I cant find it. In spain... Which is the best CD printer??

    Thank You. Really good video

  • Do you know any other one I can buy between 200-300?

  • @gadgettts you can even refill it

  • Videography has been sometime hobby of mine for years. I have owned a Dymo Diskpainter. I have actually found inkjet printers are better quality overall. Print quality has more to do with the quality of media you buy too. Say Taiyo Yuden DVD-R Glossy White Inkjet Printable with water shield as opposed to a memorex printable DVD-R, which is much cheaper. Buying the cheaper media often only leads to more coasters, hence less saving than you thought, less quality prints and a lot more time wasted.
