@SaraNightfire1 I don't think so you see some horses are just really calm and now I am talking of personnel experience.

there is nothing wrong with riding without a hat I just believe that peace of this hole story needs to be clarified! I never ride with one... the flipflops is a no go...
-
@toptop9768 yes that is the way i also see it!

I have to agree: That horse was probably spooky and didn't like the guy hanging all over him. But he was ridden before. He was calm, confident and walked around like it was nothing. I DON'T like the riding apparel, and the saddle was sideways for most of not all the ride. (The saddle middle is supposed to be in the middle of the horses spine. If it's left or right, the saddle is wrong. And it's very simple to fix). But the horse was broken in before.

that horse has some legs!!

I dont understand (cant the horse move on its own) and i can tell the horse is even more confused. This is not how to start a horse, and you call it successful? On a first ride a horse should be ASK forward, walk trot lope, left, right, and back... then thats it your done for the day or even two days, and why is the rider wearing flip flops! YOUR JOKING RIGHT!

The horse is irritated you can tell by the way he is swishing his tail and by the head position. the tack is poorly put on. this is not the proper way to break in a horse
-
That horse looks soo scronny! It is very thin looking! Or is it just me??????

I think you have a typo in the title. Isn't it supposed to be How Not To Break In A Horse?
