Yes, I did. And "Five Easy Pieces' is certainly one of my favorite movies from that era. But I loved Sally Kellerman.

I would of added to the story that Mrs. Quonset not only got to travel 1st class on Trans global for free for the rest of her life, but became the airline's favorite passenger and made many friends among the staff and pilots. A tad bit sentimental but a nice thought..

@billysscreeningroom2 Helen Hayes was Altman's first choice for "Hot Lips Houlihan".

i thought she was good in that captain's scene. I little neurotic and a little funny. I like the way she said, "not much"

This is one of the worst performances to ever been awarded an Oscar.

"You're not that important". I've actually used that line on passengers a few times.

Oscar totally deserved.
looooooooooooooooove Ada Quonsett!

I really loved Five Easy Pieces, but I really think that Sally Kellerman should have won the Oscar for 'MASH'.

She is hilarious! I can see why she won her Best Supporting Actress Oscar, very richly deserved.

AWFUL!
Ms. Hayes stole Sally Kellerman's deserved Oscar for "M*A*S*H" right out from under her. The old Hollywood wanted to keep it 'old Holywood' and this certainly was one way to keep it OLD. lol! They didn't want upstarts like Robert Altman & Co. coming in and changing things, making films that challenged the audience.
