2010 New Orleans Saints Yearbook: Dat Secondary

In 2010 No NFC defense was better than New Orleans.The # 1 ranked defense in the NFC and #4 overall.Yes,they were better than the defending SB Champion Green Bay Packers!Greg Williams' defense has made a name for themselves.They have become notorious for their aggressive, risky, nasty,pitiless style that confuses,even the most experienced of QB's.The 2010 Saints defense were at the top of their game.They went from being a bend,don't break in 2009,to a mean shutdown defense in 2010.No team allowed fewer Td's through the air(11)and they only surrendered 13 on the ground.Which allowed them to rank 7th in point allowed.The defense was riddled with injuries throughout the year,but still created havoc for opponents!The Dome became a burial ground for one particular QB on Halloween night.The defense showcased, perhaps, it's finest performance of the season,against the Steelers.They were flat out scary.

Malcolm Jenkins and Pro Bowler Roman Harper are featured in this highlight reel frenzy.

I think Spags will shape up our defense. Even though Tracy Porter is not the same, Jabari Greer is still a beast, and Patrick Robinson has stepped up. i think Spags might have Roman Harper in man coverage a lot this year which is not good lol

@Rogermansoor66 nothing about the packers' defense was elite this year. Saints had bad defense and the packers was worst. Tramon Williams also gave up the most yards for a cornerback this season. Ill admit the Saints secondary did not play well either but neither did the Packs

@rogermansoor66 coming from a saints fan. The Saints Secondary is better than what they had b4. They just play their role i mean everyone gets beat for a TD just like how Charles Woodson was burned by Colston for a 71 yd TD in 2008 and the packers had the best cover cornerbacks in the NFL that year. Im not saying the Saints Secondary is better than the Packers Secondary im just saying that they just play their position to the best of their ability and make plays. thats all.
