Acura TL Type-S vs. Altima SE-R

they are both 5 speed auto. the se r had a cold air intake and the tl had 500 miles on it. notice dealer plates. It's much faster now thats it's 4 years old.

I'm a Honda guy. I've made the parts. I've been inside the factory many times. For the same price as a type s you can get so much more.

@SPARKMW @mdb25 you're both right; BMW as a whole is obviously not 15 years outdated by Acura, but the interior of Beamers definitely feels so (motor trend was talking about the interior).

@mdb25 I guess a 2010 M3 is like a grandfathers car compared to a TL-S. Are you new or sick?

@SPARKMW I believe it was motor trend who said that the acura makes bmw 3 series look 15 years outdated. I couldn't agree more. Everytime I get into the 3 series, I feel like it's my grandfather's car. lol

The thing is, the TL-S is pre equipped with performance parts. So if you want to tune your own car, the TL is the wrong way to go. Very little aftermarket parts available.

The SE-R costs considerably less new, and much less used, and has MUCH more options for custom tuning. You can find aftermarket body kits, lights, and performance parts on the nissan.

If you want a status simbol, get the TL.

If you want a serios toy you can tinker with, get the Nissan.

Everybody is entitled to there opinion. If you wanted performance you should have bought an Audi.
