Are both videos the same?

excellent video! It's a good balance to the often child-like versions of trickster myths that are available; the ones cleaned up for the kids. We need to some of the raunch and vitality of the myths for adults

nice commentary

I like the non-imation style of this.

YOU DUMB CRACKER.

Silly white boy! What/who did you think Inktomi was/is? I bet your "how to be an ndn" membership you paid for told you something wrong. Stay our of sweat lodges.

We are storytellers. We live in the early 21st century thus what we create must be in this vein. We Indians are always defining ourselves and making sure we are not relegated to the past. That our stories have as much validity now as then.

Thank you for your interest in this video.
My friend Luke Warm Water and myself are both Lakota. Iktomi is a trickster. He shows ways not to live one's life; not to be a fool. The objective of using Iktomi and coyote is to use contemporary situations for an old story character.
I think this is a valid expression of contemporary circumstances in many communities. It's reminiscent of the hard hitting style of Adrian Louis. One of my fellow paiutes. Sweatlodge or not, it's pretty funny stuff...

Adrian C. Louis is one of our mentors; know his work.
We Indians are not saviors for white people. We have good reason to be pissed when non-Indians appropriate our culture.
