Listen to this.? Where has all the passion gone in present day music.? Auto-tuning and synthesized voice vacuous crap. It's not that there is no "talent"or creativity (there are tons of great artists) but the music industry is controlling all the artists like puppets. Those who rebel face a very hard road to any kind of success.
The only thing that the 'big hats' who control the music industry are good at is counting money.

No, no....if you turn the volume all the way up, this guy is screaming/from the audience, and she said to HIM, "Get out of my f-uckin face". Had nothing to do with the band.

i agree with you. looks like somebody in the crowd was fucking with her and she let 'em have it!! Janis wasn't afraid to speak her truth. We don't have chick singers like her anymore and probably never will unless the music biz starts to serve artists rather than the other way around

There was only one Janis, and there will never be another.
I was a teenager in the late 60's. My dad hated rock music. The only rock artist I ever played for him that he actually liked was Janis, and he used to ask me to play her for him on the stereo. He said she sounded like she was telling the truth. The highest compliment you can pay a blues musician I think.
Kind of funny that he couldn't stand stuff like the Carpenters but liked Janis. Janis and Italian opera.....
