You have to do some research into what you are getting. Many people will try to sell mutts, so to speak, as a wolf hybrid. I recommend you do a lot of research on them before you try to own one. If you plan on keeping it in a cage or chained to a dog box, please don't torture them. They are not typical dogs. There is a lot you need to understand about wolves before owning one. They are very high strung, need lots of room to run, are territorial, and take one mate for life.

You also have to understand you can not give them raw meat and keep lots for them to chew on. Currently my couch has about 10 holes in it. They are diggers by nature and will put big holes in your yard digging up rocks and they will pounce before you even realize they are about to attack something. They are beautiful, protective, and great companions. Very smart. Once they take a mate, you cannot separate them. I do have mine in the house with kids and dogs and he is great.

@TigerWolfSpirit When I once had nightmares I found out when I woke up from my mother that my dogs(they were behaving like wolves) kept barking at me in my sleep from time to time.And I had alot of nightmares that night, somethimes I woke up only to get into another nightmare.When my mother heard that they were barking she thought that they were fighting but they were just barking at me in a menacing way.Whatever the reason...something about my nightmares disturbed them
