  • At 1:23, the infamous "grrrrr"-like sound that Margie makes when things go wrong.

  • Margie's a real cutie :)

  • Wow......this film was very well taken care of all these years & it looks so sharp for its old age! This was one of the first shows I can remember seeing on television when I was born in 1955.

  • I was very impressed with the quality of this print. All credit goes to the uploader at archivedotorg. Thanks!

  • Gale Storm was so cute! at least the tv networks could have shown some respect and announced her death recently!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Wow, very recently, June 27, 2009. She was great!

  • Thanks for the memories

  • Thurston Hall, who played "Mr. Crater", was also "Mr. Schuyler" ("Cosmo Topper's" boss) on "TOPPER" at the time- both series were filmed at Hal Roach Studios.

  • As with all of producer Roland Reed's situation comedies (including Stu Erwin's "TROUBLE WITH FATHER" and "THE BEULAH SHOW"), which were filmed at Hal Roach Studios in Culver City, they were produced without laugh tracks until the fall of 1954, when he was "forced" to add them, either by sponsor or network request, or both. Ironically, both Gale and Stu's series went off the air in the summer of '55, continuing for years in syndication...

  • Did you all notice the absence of a laugh track? It was added only for the last season, I believe....but as you can all see, with a great comedy story and acting...THE SHOW DOESN'T NEED ONE! Thanks for posting this great show.

  • grrrrrrrr!....

  • they're too busy filming dysfunctional reality tv shows.
