  • Pandas are a cash cow for the Chinese. Shame on you. NARRATOR: "Pandas are so bad at raising babies..." Everywhere else in the world except China, mother pandas are doing a phenomenal job of raising their babies. The Chinese take the babies prematurely to force estrus. Sure, we need more pandas for a viable population, but this practice does not engender a nurturing mother.

  • Is this still in Japan?

  • No, they will never die out because we are all helping their reproduction & had put a harsh laws to those who kill panda. They are endangered because of human invade their habitat & killed for fur. Now, no killing & reproduction program has increase pandas.

  • cheekpalan: "well taiwanese call it..."

Thanks for the info. I learn something everyday in youtube.

  • well tainwanese call it "cat bear" and it was recorded as metal biter before the panada was used.

  • cool, i've always liked pandas.

some good footage on planet earth with david attenborough

  • May all pandas have happy lives forever!

  • I didn't know "Panda" spells as "Bear cat" in chinese.

  • Thank you for all the 3 videos! They are so touching and brought tears to my eyes. It must be so sad for the Japanese keepers to see the twins leave, yet I am sure they know that the pandas will be well cared for by their counterparts in Chengdu.
