Pushing yourself to be the best you can, and get to know the real you.

To complete this how-to, you will need:

Commitment
Pain
Goals
Small steps
Intuition

Step 1: Commit to achieve

Commit to achieve whatever you're going to do and don't be put off. Learn to say no when your plate is full, opening up your time to work on a goal.

Step 2: Accept pain as good

Interpret frustration and pain as necessary to empowering growth. All setbacks are opportunities for a breakthrough.

Step 3: Craft goals

Craft goals that are specific, observable, and set with a deadline in mind. Don't be discouraged if some don't succeed at first -- readjust.

Bad things happen to everyone on the planet -- don't make excuses.

Step 4: Find the good

Stick with what is working, and don't waste time on what isn't. Find the good in each day and build on it.

Step 5: Take small steps

Start small instead of overwhelming yourself with unrealistic expectations at first. Be centered in the present and take carefully planned-out baby steps to build up little victories and your confidence.

An overinflated ego is not proof of confidence but the opposite. It can blind and defeat you.

Step 6: Develop intuition

Develop your intuition for any kind of decision-making. Think of it as a skill you practice to get better, and learn to trust yourself by the sheer force of the successes you register.

Step 7: Make it a game

Challenge yourself continually to keep your skills and senses sharp. Make learning what you're capable of achieving a pleasant game and a life's purpose.

In 2005, Sudarshan Gautam, who lost his arms in an electrical accident as a teenager, became the first disabled person to climb the Himalayan peak of Mount Yala.

  • He holds a pen like a little girl. Why do men write like that? Thumb over the the pen rather than a normal thumb on pen. This video has all kinds of wrongs. I really like How vids but...
