Huh, was this made in oregon

Excellent video! great work. There are not many videos like this because most shops do not want to show it doesn't take all day to perform many of these upgrades.
-
Damn I wish I could work in a shop that mods VW/Audi's all day :(

That's what is getting done to may car with now. 99 Golf getting the Peloquin and SBC Stage III.

doing that in clean lightblue shirts.... amazing!
And that tranny is soooo clean...
But a good vid... i'm doing the same thing here on a 02M DRP and DRW (combining)

i guess this beats lying at the side of the road freezing cold and in the rain pulling a gearbox out, which ive done a couple of times :)

Im sorry if this is a stupid question, but what kind of improvements would the LSD do for the car?

@foxxrider250r A mechanical limited slip differential puts power to both front wheels under acceleration so you get the best traction output possible. the stock built in limited slip (electrical) uses the ABS to control wheel spin and is not true limited slip.

All in all how much did it cost for all the upgrades you did on this car? I'm saving up for a 2013 GTI and can't wait to come down and pay you guys a visit! Keep up the awesome work guys!!!

@dermagen About $16K all in. By 2013 that number could change!

A few people have asked about tools used (specifically the electric stuff) those are Snap On and Bluepoint electric impact guns and mini-drivers for the small stuff. The digital torque wrenches are also Snap On.
