arigatou - casual
arigatou gozaimasu - formal polite
doumo arigatou - less formal but stronger than arigatou

onegai - casual
onegaishimasu - polite

enpitsu kudasai - pencil please
kimu onegaishimasu - kim please
hon o kudasai - book please

  • @kiyoshiNeko97 . because thats the way it is lol. same reason other pronunciation in English is slient. Theres no real reason, its just the way it is.
