Ocean Avenue - Yellowcard

A music video I directed waaaaaaaay back in 2004, as my final exam project during my high school senior year for Video Journalism (the class that, for the most part, taught me nearly everything I know about video production today). I chose Ocean Avenue by Yellowcard because it was really popular on Y-100 at the time (circa May 2004) and if I remember correctly, I was still kind of bummed over getting dumped by my girlfriend during that era of my life.

The video stars a very young Will Ball (of "Al's World" and "Christian" fame) as well as Liz Finnegan (who appeared in "Christian and "Opaque"). It took us only two days to make and it was a lot of fun to do. The video actually brings back a lot of good memories from my senior year in high school.

So with that in mind, I dedicate this video to every girl whose heart I ever broke.
