I think a disco version of Toccata and Fugue in D Minor should be banned as well... :) Nothing against Astrud, it just doesn't seem that this version is very complimentary to the song.

LOL! No no no, you got me all wrong. I'm a huge fan of Gilberto, Bossa Nova, and (good) music as a whole. This disco remix of an otherwise beautiful heartfelt song is horrible, it doesn't attempt anything. Electronic dance music isn't bad, and integrating Gilberto and Johimbe into it is a cool idea, it is just horribly executed in this song. Don't think I'm trying to ban some music on some political hate rampage: silly. Lol. star spangled banner and this song don't compare!
