  • do the rocker arms move when you rotate the crank? seems like a stupid question but i need to know

  • @bkbkbrett - Yes, the cam rotates at half crankshaft speed. Thats the reason for turning the crank one turn to do the other half of the valves.

  • Your using aircraft spec flame proof oil hoses. Do you work in the aviaiton industry?

  • @alexthepalix - No, automotive world we share a lot of components on race cars.

  • Should you fallow the camshaft manufacturer valve clearance specifications, or the engine manufacturer valve specifications...In my case I am using stock rocker assembly and OEM valves.

  • Follow the cam grinders specs, they know what clearance works best with their product.

  • Bit more straightforward than valve adjustment on an OHC engine.

  • i had my 20r toyota engine rebuilt, it was bored 40 over and had minor cam work done to it. do you think the valve lash would be different from the toyota factory specs? it's a 1977 toyota celica GT.

  • I have got a very good hint for you to keeping the nice old Engine in good shape with todays ultra dry eco fuels: Use 1:100 API TC two stroke oil / fuel mix as regular driving fuel, that keeps the old fuel-system gaskets, rubber parts, alloy parts etc... and cast iron metal surfaces of those vintage engines in excellent shape...and it also lubricates the valves and upper piston regions. Most Porsche vintage owners in Germany do so :) Also keeps carbs and tank clean and rustfree

  • On the 600 it is 0.15mm on both exhaust and intake. to do it properly when n.1 is fully open you check n. 8. WHEN N 2 is open you check N.7. and so on. it always add up to 9.

  • шо вы батько пиздете?

  • Hey man, great video, thanks for sharing! I just scored one of these bad boys, & am seeking info & a place to buy parts. Got any good sites for rebuild kits, ect? I've got a 1970 Fiat 850 Spider 4 Cylinders 0.9L, so any help would be great. Take it easy man. :)
