    Thanks for watching, and all the best for your and your family!!!

  • I once heard a story about John McDermott and his kindness. A woman and her daughter were at a concert where he was performing..It was the daughter's 16th birthday.John found out some how and went into the audience to meet this young woman.What a wonderful sincere and generous thing to do! I am sure that young woman will remember it forever.

    Thanks you for sharing this episode! He's really a kind and generous man, just let's think of the hospital-like house he founded to help war-veterans.

  • Enjoyed this song as well as The Old Man. John has an unique style

    of relating the story through song. I met him in 1977 in Toronto where he

    recorded some of my songs. I posted "35th Anniversary Blizzard 77"

    on youtube. He was young then; but the talent was there.

    Cheers;

    Doug

    Thanks you for sharing your memories :-) Though I understand what it means losing your Dad, I'm really sorry to hear your marriage hasn't going well :( I wish you all the very best!

  • This was my song with my Dad, over 14 years ago. I'm now divorced, and my Dad has since passed (1 March 2008), but I'll never forget my Dad dancing with me! He didn't dance much, so I was leading. :) But that memory will live with me FOREVER! Thank you for posting this!

    Sorry to hear this... I understand how you feel, I lost my Dad some years before getting married :( I know it's overused, but I think he will look after you from above and he will always be by your side.

    Thanks for watching the video... and God bless you!

  • @Savinda85 Love that song
