Both Muskets and Precission rifle were used in the civil war... But, you know, ignorance is bliss.

It's a violation of local ordinance to misspell ordnance

You excite no one with a prediction of something that exists outside of how long any of us will live to see. It's like saying OMG WE'RE ALL GOING TO DIE FROM A BLACK HOLE MILLIONS OF YEARS LATER! Like no shits will be given.

I want to see it tested on PEOPLE. I want to know how many torsos it could pass through before expending its energy. For the 32MJ (or is it 32GJ?) Version it must be close to four figures.

You can bet the Chinese will use live targets testing their inevitable copy.

I know it's warped but I want to know! I'll bet a better mathematician than I could put forward a decent estimate.

Doesn't this seem like feasible initiative to wage war in orbit or space? Like its ok to build these guns and weapon systems? To entice or avoid nuclear war?

"Musket" refers to the ordinance whereas "Percussion" refers to the percussion cap firing mechanism. All are rifles. The musket with a percussion cap was the most common form of rifle available to soldiers on both sides. I'm not sure how this argument started or why I felt compelled to respond.
