    There are different ways to say "please" in Japanese. It depends on how you use it.

    "o-negai shimasu" is a phrase used to simply say "_____, please!" or something along those lines. For example, you're getting into a taxi and you want to go to Kyoto. You could say "Kyoto, o-negai shimasu!" This also works for objects. The other word is "kudasai", though it is a lot less flexible.

    You would pronounce it o ne gai (like guy) shi ma su (u is unpronounced.)
