Mob Fandango are 11 musicians who met in the hallowed halls of N.U.I Maynooth's prestigious Music Department. They have recorded an EP (which is now on their myspace page) and are currently in the process of recording a full-length album. With no less than six seperate songwriters, the Mob play a variety of genres, including soul, reggae, funk, folk, pop and rhythm n' blues. Featuring trumpet, sax,
clarinet, flute and five vocalists, this band specialise in upbeat, accessible, dance-friendly songs. Both visually and musically entertaining, Mob Fandango are a joyous celebration of all the good things about live music, and are a breath of fresh air to the Irish music scene.
