Featuring time lapse of the Kilauea volcano lava flow. Expansive footage includes sunrises, sunsets and night views of the glowing lava on the hillside, with clouds reflecting the glow. Among the most spectacular shots are the setting full moon eclipse on December 10, 2011, and moonbows (moondogs) that appear with the setting stars and glowing lava on December 14. Slow shutter speeds augment the ethereal glows and magnificent colors of the lava glow and reflected sunlight. Photographed from the perspective of Kalapana, slightly to the northwest of Pu`u `O`o Crater.
