French Soldiers 2010

I visited Paris and found French soldiers again in a station. They were patrolling as usual.
(what are the names of the rifles they have, by the way..?)

They are patrolling in every station, it's the VIGIPIRATE Plan, anti terrorist plan, military are watching suspect behaviors or abandonned luggages.

They are deployed in touristic places, stations, power plants, tunnels, and even in EuroDisneyLand.

VIGIPIRATE Plan is set in France since the terrorist attack waves of Paris starting in the 80's. It was the Algerian GIA terrorist group, nowadays there are many other groups from many other countries.
