The Doors ^^

@Chago14789 Different parts of this song strongly resemble mulitiple Doors songs, including Hello (I love you), 20th Century Fox and When the Music's over.
-
@Dangeresque300 noo this is a complete parody of when the musics over
-
the beggining is like "when the musics over"!! good job al...as usual
-
130 people didn't see Al hold up his index finger. No tip for you!!!
-
@tangogrrl Yeah, I've been an Al fan for over 25 years, so I've learned things here and there. When Al asked if he could do a parody of Money For Nothing, Mark Knopfler said sure, but only if Knopfler could play guitar on it himself.

@glenwo2 If you like The Doors, Weird Al, and musicians who are really out there creating great poetry, imagery and whose songs don't all sound the same, do a YouTube search on 'Beck'. He is very talented, and you may like his stuff. Unusual, on the edge, sometimes really wack, but a great artist. I'm sure he was very influenced by our Lizard King.

@shaneomacfan3 Wow thanks! I did not know that. But now that I replay it, I can absolutely hear it. didn't know about Mark Knopfler either. That's excellent! You know a lot of Al factoids? (I mean that in a good way, since Dr. Demento always referred to us as Dementoids and Dementites) : )
Just an FYI for all those of you who want to know what to know what the original song is:
This is an ORIGINAL song. Written by Al in the STYLE of The Doors.
So, this IS the original song. Thumbs up so people will stop asking.

The fact that people have to ASK what the original song was is staggering and shameful.
