i really do not see the thing that says ririgid body.........
-
thank you very much, simple, excelent explanation. really to the basics
-
@RTard48JRod - thanks for pointing that out - the rigid body option will cause the objects to interact more realistically with each other (they will rotate when they hit a curved surface and roll down sloped faces).

Everything works like in your video, but my plane is not visible.....any tips?

@spinolex - single planes with no depth (like a cube has depth) - they don't render well if you see them from below. It could be that your plane is upside down. The 'flip normals' option should turn it over without having to rotate the mesh (press the space bar and type 'normal' - I can remember the shortcut key off-hand)

Hi 20jreid10, i have a question. If i select Dynamic as the physics instead of Rigid Body i get more motion options. What is the difference between Ridgid and Dynamic?
RTard48JRod 1 year ago
@RTard48JRod - I just had a quick play with the Beta4 version and both the Rigid body and the Dynamic options have the full spectrum of motion options (that was missing on the earlier version that I was using for the tutorial)... I think its time for another Blender game engine tutorial...

@20jreid10 hi,thanks for answering! Can you teach me more on Dope Sheet editor for BGE and explain all types of Animation for BGE please, also the textureing is a bit different for BGE now.

@RTard48JRod - it'll be a while before I get around to that... check out the blender cookie's game engine tutorial, it is amazing. It will answer some of your questions
